Virtual Therapy by Ella James
Each of us deserve a happy and satisfying life. However some of us may find ourselves struggling with a wide range of issues and emotional difficulties that stops us from being happy and fulfilled. Maybe we don’t know who we are or what we are supposed to be? Because of this we can become stuck in recurring patterns of negative behaviour or habits that stop us moving forward, sometimes repeating the same mistakes for years without ever knowing why.
People may assume your ‘dwelling’ on past events or tell you to ‘get over it’, but having an emotional problem or behaviour isn’t a choice or a sign of weakness, and its important to remember you are not alone. Getting involved in your treatment will help you gain back control and cope with moving forward.
Sometimes it can be helpful to talk to someone, one who can help you resolve long held beliefs without judgement. To be supported so you can take back control of your life and to make your own choices on how to lead your life.
Using a practical easy to use synchronous on-line presence so we are connected at the same time and can be engaged in a two-way conversation. As such, this is similar to the traditional therapy setting but in the privacy of your own space. Typical platforms used for example are WhatsApp, Skype and Facetime services.
We can help you find the centre of the issues quickly, without anxiety side effects related to time off work, travelling in bad weather, the stress of driving, parking etc, child minding or just being able to go home in time for dinner.

BWRT®’ stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI.
Like many other modern therapies, it allows a ‘core of privacy’ so that you do not have to divulge anything you would rather not talk about – in fact, the practitioner only needs to know how you feel and how you would prefer to feel instead. BWRT® is a completely new and different therapy based on the latest discoveries about the way the brain works and how it affects our moods, behaviour and emotions.
Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code.

OK – I sort of get that, but how does the BWRT® process actually work?
I am a Therapist based in Peterborough Cambridgeshire.
We start by ‘freezing’ the troubling thoughts then we employ a technique called ‘Recursive Looping’ to condition the way the brain responds to triggers.
BWRT® is the only therapy (as at July 2016) to work in this manner, making it one of the fastest and most effective therapies around.
Brain Working Recursive Therapy makes use of your own logical thought process and your practitioner guides you through the process all the way. All it requires from you is the will to succeed and the ability to focus your mind on what you wish to change.
All clients require a full psychotherapy assessment so the therapist can ensure they understand you and to assist you on your path to wellness.
Don't take my word for it

Lucy helped me on a recovery from a traumatic breakdown in a relationship. After I had had 6 months of counselling I met Lucy and was able to stop my cycle of being a victim and take control of my response to situations and deal with the residue I had been left with. She is a strong woman but has a heart of gold. Truly feel blessed for our paths to have crossed.
Ruby
I recently had 4 sessions of BWRT with Lucy and I found her to be warm and patient, yet professional and thorough.
She managed to really help me get to the heart of the matter and I felt my positive energy and confidence grow with each session.
I have my ‘get up and go’ back!
Thank you.
Wendy

I did not know what I was doing for a few months & was confused, outside of myself losing control, angry. Three sessions later, I feel back in control, happier and well, just normal.
